Notes
- Content updates
- I'm still working on writing content
- If you have extra time and want to help, let me know
- Recording instructions
- We will follow the same process we followed last year
- Use the website as a script
- Keep in mind that there will be visual cues and transitions in the final product, so don't rush through things like transitions or lists (speak as if you are using a powerpoint)
- Last year, we used a zoom background. This year, I plan to remove the background in Premiere. If possible, choose a simple background that looks nice, both to make the process a bit easier and also just in case removing the background doesn't work for some reason
- Use good lighting and the best microphone you have. Take time to test things out and find a good setup because it makes a huge difference in the quality of the final product (we can schedule an additional meeting specifically to test things out together - that worked really well last year!)
- Follow these recording tips from last year recording-tips.docx
- Video assignments:
- Added a list of videos to the TACoS 2023 Plans spreadsheet
TODO
- SW
- Finish content
- AT & JG
- Decide between you which videos you want to record. Start with one and send it to me so I can check it out before you record more, just in case there's a problem
- Some of the videos from last year could potentially be reused (if Alicia recorded them), but we'll need to check to make sure it works
